Impacto del estrés laboral sobre la salud mental del personal militar

El estrés laboral representa un riesgo importante para la salud mental del personal militar debido a las exigencias propias de sus funciones y contexto. El objetivo de esta revisión bibliográfica se centro en sintetizar la evidencia científica publicada entre el año 2020 y 2026 sobre el impacto del estrés laboral en la salud mental del personal militar activo. Este proceso se realizó conforme a la declaración PRISMA 2020, incluyendo 36 estudios seleccionados tras la aplicación de criterios de elegibilidad y evaluación metodológica mediante el JBI Critical Appraisal Checklist. Los resultados evidenciaron una relación consistente entre el estrés laboral y el impacto en la salud mental, evidenciando diversos factores asociados como la ansiedad, depresión, trastorno de estrés postraumático y las alteraciones del sueño. La resiliencia y el apoyo social emergieron como factores protectores. Se concluye que es necesario fortalecer programas institucionales de prevención e intervención psicológica basados en evidencia con el objetivo de promover la salud mental del personal militar.
